The storm before the silence
One day before departure, and a serious storm Hans is hitting Norway. Resulting in cancellation of ferries, trains, buses and closure of many roads in the south of Norway. Even for a rainy country, this storm is unseen.
Which gives some tension about the flight on Tuesday. As the airport is in the red zone. And we receive every two hours emergency warnings on our phones.
Therefore we switched upon arrival in Oslo our tent for a small bungalow on the camp site to arrange proper shelter for the storm. It allows us to repack and wash our stuff after the camping trip and to prepare my luggage for the cycling trip. The washing and drying machines were busy.
The heavy rain did not withhold us to play a proper game of midget golf with my kids. The scorecard dissolved in the rain, but the kids were anyhow convinced about their victory. And that’s what counts.
Curious for their new tricks when I return back home. For sure they will practice on their road back home.
