Keeping a good attitude while waiting

Travelling very often involves waiting and queuing. However, it’s an underrated opportunity to experience adventures and small discoveries. When you look for them, they are easy to find.

A nice example is the diving tower besides the waiting line for the car ferry from Kaupanger to Gudvangen. It offers a fast lane access to the refreshing water of the Fjord. You can enjoy the view from 1, 3 or 5 m height.

We arrived half an hour before departure of this scenic ferry line. Time enough to change outfit and perform our best tricks and moves for the waiting audience.

The ferry is highly recommended when you are in the area. We took the 15:00 boat, and as such we had a sunset spectacle at arrival in the Nærøyfjord, a narrow fjord of sometimes 500 m. This UNESCO World Heritage Site gives you a ‘Norway in a nutshell’-experience.
